Dear Members,

You are cordially invited to participate and march in the Greek Independence Parade, with our
Society, on Sunday, April 22, 2018 on 5th Avenue, in New York City, scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm.
Bus transportation will be provided leaving from and returning to our Cultural Center in Whitestone departing our Center at 11:00 a.m.
The most significant event in Modern Greek history is the Independence of Greece from the Ottoman Empire on March 25th 1821. Our Society will, as always, lend its strong support to this important event and we urge every member to make an effort to participate in the Parade and make our contribution a significant one. As always, our Society will have its own Kastorian float. It is essential that you join us during this important cultural event and bring your children and grandchildren.
To all the students that have received scholarships in the past, we appreciate your participation. After the Parade we will meet at our Cultural Center for refreshments.
Please call our office at 718-746-4505 and make reservations by April 18, 2018, if you are interested in transportation. Our Executive Secretary will maintain a list of all members requesting transportation.
