Our Society’s heartwarming ceremony took place on August 8th in Kastoria. We rewarded the valedictorian students of our home town, as well as show our gratitude through donating to the Red Cross of Kastoria, Lazarus Nursing Home of Athens Rizou and Museum of the Macedonian Struggle. The event was an inevitable success and The Society of Kastorians NY “OMONOIA” thanks everyone for attending. Furthermore, a special thanks goes out to the guest speakers, Mr. Christos Yioves former President of the Society, Dr. Theodora Pinou President of the Scholarship Committee and Mr. Athanasios Rizopoulos Assistant General Secretary and Member of the Board. This annual occasion is a tradition that the Society of Kastorians NY “OMONOIA” will continue to honor.
