Sunday November 13th, the Society of Kastorians celebrated Kastorias Patron Saint Minas at St. Eleftherios church.
The Society of Kastorians honored Mr. Pantelis Papazoglou for his dedication and ongoing commitment as Chief Editor to the official publication “Kastoriana Nea”.

A brief summary for St. Minas:
The Kastorians honored St. Minas throughout the Turkish rule, but especially after November 11, 1912, because on that day, he helped the Greek Army to bloodlessly liberate Kastoria from the Turks.
Since 1912 and every year on November 11, the residents of Kastoria remember with gratitude the many benefits of Saint Minas to their city and celebrate his holy memory with all splendor and solemnity.
