The Society of Kastorians “OMONOIA”, NY during periods of crisis has dedicated its philanthropic work and solidarity not only to its Fellow Members and the Greek Community, but also to the local organizations and community.
During this pandemic that we hope we overcome soon, we support our front-line responders and heroes!
Starting tomorrow April 21st, the President Mr. Demos Siokis and the BOD of the Society of Kastorians “OMONOIA”, NY took initiative to deliver lunch to Jacobi Medical Center at 1400 Pelham Pkwy S, The Bronx, NY 10461 that will accommodate 50 medical staff personal of the ICU Unit.
On Wednesday the 22nd the Society will deliver food to 11 fire-fighters of the FDNY Engine 295/Ladder 144 in Whitestone. Finally, on Thursday the 23rd the NYPD Precinct 109 at 37-05 Union St. Flushing NY 11354 will receive 100 meals for the Police Officers.
